Monkeys are a NMC encountered in Parasite Eve.

Monkeys are the result from Eve mutating the mitochondria cells of monkeys. These are first encountered in Day 2 at Central Park. These creatures are deadly as they can have devastating attacks both short range and long so players will have to be cautious of their attacks. Monkeys long distance attack is to throw their bladed left arm like a boomerang at Aya but it takes awhile for it to re-use the attack. At short range the Monkey will clobber at Aya with its claw and its bladed arm.
