Maggots are a more advanced form of the Caterpillar NMC and are consequently a bit harder to deal with. Combustion works very well as at Levels 2 or 3, it can one shot an entire group. If it doesn't kill them, they can be set on fire which causes their HP to be slowly depleted. This can be useful but it is better to kill them out right.
